Tt eSPORTS announces first official sponsorship in Brazil with Ovo Frito Team
São Paulo – Thermaltake through Tt eSports announces sponsorship of the first e-sports team in Brazil, being part for 2 years in the competitive scenery of Team Fortress 2.
In July, Tt eSports officiated his first sponsorship in Brazil, with the e-sports Ovo Frito team, two teams in different levels, the main line where focus are stronger players, and the secondary line that aims to train and prepare new players and allow easier access to beginners.
Camila Chimello, Product Marketing for Thermaltake says about: "We are very interested in bringing to Brazil the electronic sports scene we see in other countries such as the division Tt eSports in Taiwan, where the matches are displayed on TV channels. She added: "Therefore it is important give support to national teams, and also support initiatives that aim to make e-sports official in the country. Ovo Frito team sponsorship is just one of several actions we take in the coming months.” Matheus “Ck."Santos, national player of Ovo Frito team, also believes the initiative will bring future opportunities to other teams:"I'm sure that with a big name like Tt eSports other companieswill start looking for competitive clans as it did some years ago. No doubt this will end up bringing in other companies, tournaments and events, is something very positive to e-sports scene in Brazil, even for players that do not play TF. "
Will be in total 12 players getting equipment Tt eSports gamer line so they can train and get more of the products developed especially for this practice. Thermaltake believes this action will attract more attention to electronic sports scene, as result more teams will look for sponsorship to evolve as professionals.
The official announcement was formalized during Anime Friends 2011, where competition were held among members from Ovo Frito team and visitors. The top visitors team received awards and all those who participated were given gifts (T-shirts, cap, pen).
